The American Badger of Yellowstone

We were hiking across the Lamar Valley, near the river, when we were joined by this American Badger!  He ran ahead of us and into his bunker complex where he cooperated with me, allowing me to capture this candid moment.  It was one of the wildest encouters I've ever had with a wild animal!  It was an eventful day at the Lamar Valley River trail in Yellowstone National Park.
