The Panting Little Blue Heron

While staying at Disney World's Fort Wilderness campground, this beautiful Little Blue Heron was perched on a rock behind our motorhome.  It was a hot day, but this heron wasn't going to be deterred from feeding on fish in the pond.  He panted his way through the lunch hour!  I was able to take my time and sit close to him, creating this effect of a dark background during the bright afternoon sun.
